Angelina Jolie in Ghana

So after a month of fun and excitement and only one topic of conversation, it seems we're back to reality. Goodbye to this:

And hello work deadlines, temporary move to Tema, cluelessly selecting nurseries for Em (aaahhh, my girl's all grown up already!) and lots of planning and strategising.

Well, at least we can entertain ourselves with the news that a certain celeb is coming to town. Yes, if rumours are to be believed, Angelina Jolie lands in Accra tomorrow! Want a celebrity spotting? My best bet is to ignore Joy's tips on where she'll go, just hang around Osu Children's Home long enough, surely she's not planning to leave Africa without another kid, lol!

Well, given her track record and the vagueness of that article on myjoy, the speculation seems warranted.

Either way, I wonder if people in Ghana are particularly excited about her visit.

Me too, Sel. Is she very popular here? I've never really heard her name mentioned. Frankly Ghanaians in general would prefer to see a politician or football player rather than a movie star.

Love the football pics!
Mmmm I wonder if she will be here with domestic partner Brad and some of the kiddiewinks in tow! Perfect weather for a Brangelina visit I must say. BTW, all the guys in my office are certainly excited about a potential Angelina visit.

Mmm, wouldn't mind bumping in to Brad Pitt at all, Abena! I guess that means she is popular here after all.

wow, Angelina Jolie! Hold on to your babies! :)

I have one recommendation of nurseries: Dont put her in Community 2, No. 1 Municipal Day Care Center !! :)

Lol Yngvild! I'm keeping Em locked up in the house, ha ha. I guess some nurseries need a heads up before celebs can visit, enough time to clean up the mess, let staff appear extra friendly, etc.
