December Sunday

This Sunday has been as mellow as Sundays should always be. Apart from a quick trip to Nordstan, the main Gothenburg mall, it has been spent home, preparing anxiously for the important week ahead.

Em and I welcomed Virgo who just arrived in Gothenburg. I am excited for both Em and Virgo to experience their first Christmas in Sweden.

Speaking of Christmas, here's today's song: Dido's Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas in advance! Are you ready for Christmas?? I just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit this year. I think I've officially lost my Christmas mojo.

Anyway, are you permanently living in Sweden now? And speaking of Sweden, I would love to visit some day. I just got back from Europe (London and Paris) a week and a half ago and my visit left me particularly unmoved...London just wasn't what I remember from my childhood days, and as for Paris, beautiful city; the people, not so much.

I think I'm going to make a trip to Ikea and enjoy some Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes and lingonberry sauce!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes Raine, go to IKEA! That used to be my Christmas dinner when I lived in London, lol!

Agree with you on London and Paris, the Frenchies are at times just too arrogant.

I am temporarily relocated to Sweden, prob until next summer, as business means we have to spend more time in Europe.

Just like you, the Christmas spirit hasn't gotten to me at all, can't believe it's less than two weeks away! I still haven't decorated and I think that's why I set myself the task of a Christmas carol every day.

Here's hoping in the next week we both find our Christmas mojo!
